Nawab is an Indian restaurant located here in Dubai. We went to the location in Midriff City Centre which is located in the food court.
Me and my two boys aka the hubby and his brother decided to try this place out since for one I have never tried it and everybody knows while at the mall the food court is the cheapest place.
We got up to the counter to order the staff was super friendly which was shocking with it being the weekend I am sure they were tired but all seems energetic and happy to serve us.
Anyways we ended up ordering the special for 30 AED which is like 8 dollars back home. The special includes two curry’s which you get to pick between butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, or a fish curry.In addition with masala rice and two chicken pieces.
The butter chicken was nice this is my family favorite. We tend to eat butter chicken like once a week at home. They give a decent portion as a side item.
The other curry I chose was the chicken tikka masala. I chose this over the fish because I love chicken. I am also an addict when it comes to spicy. This curry contains more chili and heat then the butter chicken one. The color is also a darker red.
The rice I was lucky it actually came with extra chicken because I chose the spicy rice over the basic rice like my family. The rice was nice had decent size grains. The typical Indian rice was used.
However, with the two curry’s and rice you get a nice 2 pieces of chicken bites. One is tikka chicken the other is a garlic chicken piece. To me I loved the tikka chicken one more however both chicken pieces where nice and tender.
So would I recommend this place? Yes between the awesome customer service, decent portion sizes, and lets face it easy on the wallet this is a place I would visit again at the mall and would recommend to all my friends and family here in Dubai.
